Ang Chiok Hock’s bond with Tianlu
He once kept the female Bixie — a tomb guardian — at home, and went through more than ten years of misfortune. A teacher showed him that a home people live in should keep the male Tianlu. After he invited Tianlu, wore it, and contemplated daily, his life turned. He founded this house so the next person would not have to guess.

A steadfast heart, a lifelong legacy
Grateful to everyone who has walked with us, as we pass on Tianlu culture and kindness from generation to generation.
I often share this with my customers: life should not be spent working only to make money. Earn money throughout your life, but do not spend your whole life earning money. Make time to enjoy living, too.
After nearly twenty years running Tian Lu Zhi Jia, I once planned to retire and spend more time with myself and my family. But over the years, my customers’ care and greetings, and the gratitude and support we have shared, have brought us together like family. They helped me realise that Tian Lu Zhi Jia is more than a business; it is the purpose I have never been able to leave behind.
Today, I spend four days a week at Tian Lu Zhi Jia and the other three with my family, enjoying life and finding balance between my calling and daily living. Our new Tianlu website has also renewed my determination to pass on Tianlu culture.
Retirement does not mean the end. Passing on Tianlu culture is a lifelong calling I gladly embrace. I hope to carry forward the spirit of ‘Tianlu and people as one’, so Tianlu culture and positive energy can pass from generation to generation, lighting hearts, blessing families, and bringing more good into society.
